India\u2019s military strikes on targets in Pakistan prompted multiple airlines to re-route and cancel flights that were destined to land or due to fly over the south Asian countries on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Gulf carriers, including Qatar Airways, temporarily suspended flights to Pakistan, while Thai Airways, China Airlines and Korean Air were among those re-directing their planes to avoid the conflict zone.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Shares in India\u2019s biggest airline, IndiGo, fell 1 per cent after the carrier said its flights into and around Indian-administered Kashmir had been \u201cimpacted\u201d. Tata-owned Air India, as well as rival SpiceJet, also said they had cancelled multiple routes in north India and Kashmir.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
